The Fairchester Business Resource will provide members opportunities to sharpen the skills necessary to grow their businesses. Meetings will center around presentations by experts on relevant business issues concerning the growth, management and organizational issues of members and their businesses. Strong, substantive content will be the organization's goal for each meeting. Speakers will be invited based on their recognized expertise in areas selected.

Unlike local Chambers of Commerce and leads development groups, professional development is The Fairchester Business Resource's primary mission. Networking will also be an important component of the meetings.

Monthly Meetings & Invited Speakers

The Fairchester Business Resource will meet monthly for informative breakfasts to hear an invited speaker on substantive business issues.

Typical topics might include:

• Obtaining appropriate financing
• Developing an Advertising Plan
• Determining Pricing for New Product/Service
• Negotiating Office Real Estate
• Making More Effective Sales Calls
• Writing/Revising Practical Business Plans
• What To Look For in a Business Attorney
• Taking on Partners

Speakers will be well-credentialed and comfortable in volunteering their services.

Meetings will start at 7:30 with the program at 8:00. They will formally end at 9:00.

A Continental Breakfast will be available.
